part of the great movement to restore the church of the New
Testament:
By wearing New
Testament Names.
"the disciples were
called Christians first in Antioch." Acts 11:25
"the churches of Christ
salute you." Romans 16:16
By believing the New
Testament Creed.
"thou art the Christ, the
Son of the living God.....upon this rock I will build my church."
Matthew 16:16-18
"For other
foundations can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus
Christ." 1 Cor 3:11
By practicing New Testament Conversion.
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...." Mark 16:16
"Repent ye, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus
Christ unto the remission of your sins..." Acts 2:38
By obeying the New Testament Baptism.
"...arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his
name..." Acts 22:16 "We
are buried therefore with him through baptism into death; that like
as Christ was raised through the glory of the Father, so we also
might walk in the newness of life." Rom 6:4
By duplicating New Testament Membership.
"They then that received his word were baptized: and there were
added unto then in that day about three thousand souls." Acts 2:47
"And the Lord added.....those that were saved." Acts 2:47
By doing New Testament Work.
"Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing
them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatso ever I command
you..." Matthew 28:19-20
By imitating New Testament Worship.
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles teaching and
fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers. Acts 2:42
By observing New Testament Communion.
"...this do in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19
"And upon the first day of the week, when we gather together to
break bread..." Acts 20:7
"But let a man prove himself...." 1 Cor 11:28
By keeping New Testament Stewardship.
"...it is more blessed to give than to receive....." Acts 20:35
"Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in

By living the New Testament Life.
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savoir Jesus
Christ." 1 Peter 3:18 "Be
though faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

By pleading for New Testament Unity.
"...I pray...that they may all be one.... that the world my believe
that thou didst send me." John 17:20-21
"....that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no
divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same

By adhering to New Testament Disciple.
"Every Scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in
righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
By allowing New Testament Freedom.
